01

Who we are and scope

PT Teknologi Weldim Indonesia ("PT TWI", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and in the course of providing asset integrity, inspection engineering, digital integrity and technical training services. Our registered address is Mutiara Building, 3rd Floor, Room 301, Jl. Mampang Prapatan Raya No. 10, Jakarta Selatan 12790, Indonesia.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights available to you. It applies to visitors to this website, enquiry and training-registration contacts, and business contacts at client and partner organisations.

02

Personal data we collect

We collect only the data needed for the purposes set out in section 3:

Enquiry and contact data
Name, organisation, job title, business email address, telephone number, and the content of your enquiry, submitted through the enquiry form or by email.
Training registration data
Name, organisation, contact details, and the certification programme of interest. Identity-document, qualification and examination-result data is collected and processed directly by the relevant certification or awarding body under its own registration process, not by us.
Technical and usage data
IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
Correspondence
Records of communications with us, including WhatsApp messages sent to our published business number.

We do not knowingly collect data from children. We do not seek to collect specific personal data (as defined in Article 4(2) UU PDP), such as health or biometric data, unless it is strictly required for a training or site-access requirement, in which case separate explicit consent will be obtained.

03

Purposes and legal basis

Under UU PDP each processing activity requires a lawful basis. Where the UK/EU GDPR also applies, the equivalent basis is shown.

Providing services and training
Performance of a contract (UU PDP Art. 20(2)(b); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Sending the course schedule and training updates

Website security and integrity
Legitimate interests of the controller (UU PDP Art. 20(2)(f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Legal, tax and regulatory records
Compliance with a legal obligation (UU PDP Art. 20(2)(c); GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
04

Disclosure and processors

We do not sell personal data. We disclose personal data only to:

  • service providers acting on our instructions, such as our website hosting and email providers;
  • certification and awarding bodies (such as CSWIP or API), where necessary to register a candidate for examination or issue a certificate;
  • professional advisers, auditors and insurers, where necessary;
  • regulators, courts or law enforcement, where required by Indonesian law.
05

International transfers

Personal data may be transferred outside Indonesia where a processor or certification body is located abroad. Under Article 56 UU PDP, such transfers are made only where the receiving country provides an adequate level of protection, where contractual safeguards equivalent to standard contractual clauses are in place with the recipient, or where you have given your consent.

06

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and thereafter only as required by law. As a general rule: enquiry records are kept for 24 months from your last contact with us; training and certification records are kept for 5 years, consistent with certification body requirements; contract and accounting records are kept for 10 years in line with Indonesian company and tax law; and website technical logs are kept for 12 months. When the applicable period expires, the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

07

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in UU PDP Articles 5 to 15, and to the equivalent GDPR rights where applicable, you may:

  • be informed about the processing and obtain a copy of your data;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • have data erased, or its processing ended, where the legal basis no longer applies;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
  • object to processing and to decisions based solely on automated processing;
  • request that your data be transmitted to another controller, where technically feasible;
  • lodge a complaint and seek compensation for loss caused by unlawful processing.

To exercise a right, write to inquiry@weldim.com. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and no later than the period required by law, and may ask you to verify your identity before acting on your request.

08

Security

We maintain an information security management system and apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access control, encryption in transit, and personnel confidentiality obligations. Our management systems relevant to information security are listed on our QHSSE page. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure; please do not send sensitive information through the enquiry form or WhatsApp.

09

Breach notification

In the event of a personal data breach, we will assess it promptly and notify affected data subjects and the competent authority within the period required by Article 46 UU PDP, together with a description of the breach and the steps taken.
